I used to pretend to blog here, but then I went to law school. Today is April 11th, 2016 and I turn 30 October 10th! 6 months from yesterday :)<br />

I am up about 10 pounds from my "normal" highest weight. Not OK. Law school, health issues, life, laziness... does not help you when it comes to losing weight. I know I'm not the only one dealing with those and it is up to me in how I choose to overcome these obstacles. I know I am capable of whatever I put my mind to. I just need to do it.<br />

My plan is to do weigh in posts on Wednesdays and weekly review posts on Mondays. For my own records and to try and hold myself accountable.<br />
<br />
My first goal I will publicly set is to do the 21 day fix workouts. 21 days of doing the videos consistently. Frankly I've never completed more than like 4 workouts in a row from a plan. But I have done most of the videos, I like them and I know its doable. I do not plan on following the containers. That is not a system that works for me. I will be logging my food on myfitnesspal (healthysew)<br />

Influenster is a great program, basically you take surveys, they send you complimentary products and you provide reviews. Makeup, hair stuff & fun products but this time I got a Keurig! My pros. Easy to use, it is quick to turn on and heat the water. I like the different cup sizes and you can pick strong if you want it to be strong or if you're making hot chocolate or something you can make it less strong. I also think it is really sleek looking on the counter. It looks fancy I think, not just a coffee pot. </div>

My Cons. I wish the reserve was bigger. My other Keurig machines have a bigger reserve and i like not having to fill it every couple days #firstworldproblems. I also wish it had a setting to automatically come on a certain time, my parents can set theirs to come on at like 7am every day. Finally a con I could see for others but hasn't affected me, is that is designed to only use Keurgi brand K Cups. There is a code on the top of the K Cups, and if it doesn't have the right code it may not wor. I have heard there are hacks, but this hasn't affected me.</div>

My grandma went back into the nursing home in April and then passed away on April 28th. That was and still is very hard for me. We were very close and is just hard to not be able to call her or see her but I know she is no longer sick and in pain so I am working on dealing with it. I keep trying to describe her and I just cant. She was an amazing grandma, wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. If I can be even half as great as she was I will consider myself accomplished. <br />

I also found out late April that I was accepted into Law School! So that is awesome, I can't wait to see where this adventure takes me.<br />

Still dealing with hip/back pain. Went to the doctor and was initially told it was arthritis and referred to physical therapy. The physical therapist thinks it is a bulging disk, which makes more sense to me. Working on exercises to help heal that.<br />
<br />
I also signed up for a race! Three actually. a 8k on June 27th, 10k in August & Half Marathon in September. And in case your wondering no I still cant run longer than 2 minutes but I paid the money, so I better figure it out :P<br />

And of course I made my June goals. Hoping June is a great month for me!<br />

So I started Weight Watchers two weeks ago. On this blog I have talked about My Fitness Pal and IIFYM, I like those forms of tracking, but the problem is I am just not tracking.. I did pay for the weight Watchers weekly meetings for three months. My mother is doing it with me. I am hoping these meetings will help with my accountability. I don't honestly love the point system and the way Weight Watchers has you track but right now I am doing a hybrid of points and calorie counting. I have only been to two meetings but I will definitely share my thoughts. </div>

My history with Beachbody, I think about 3 years ago, I purchased Insanity and did it for a couple weeks, we all know finishing tasks isn't my strong suit :P, and really enjoyed the program. I still go to Insanity classes at my Y. In the past year I have bought T25, Piyo and most recently 21 Day Fix!</div>

Although I haven't fully finished any of these programs, my goal is to complete each one this year. </div>

T25 makes me feel like I am getting a killer workout, love the modifier and just a great workout in only 25 minutes. </div>

Piyo is great for days where I need to workout but don't want to *feel* like a killer burn. While working out i can breath and i enjoy getting the yoga experience without being too slow. At the end of the workouts I am always pleasantly surprised with the calorie burn. Probably my favorite that I own.</div>

21 Day Fix is my newest, I only have done 4 days to be honest, then I was hit with more kidney stone issues. But I really enjoyed it! I am planning to restart the workouts next week. Doing 21 Day Fix I definitely feel like I am getting a workout but it doesn't seem too overwhelming while doing it. Great calorie burn for me and definitely feels like a workout.</div>

I have also used Shakeology on and off for over three years now. It always makes me feel better when I am using it consistently. I typically either use it for my breakfast and add some fruit or for my dinner when I don't feel like I want an entire meal.</div>

This has been an eventful month and I am ready for some normalness. <br />
<br />
The day before St Patrick's day I started having severe back pain. I assumed it was just my body being stubborn and reminding me that I do not take the care I should and appreciate it. I have had back pain off and on my whole life but this was different. <br />
<br />
The next day (freaking St Patricks Day!), I went to urgent care because I could not get into my normal doctor and someone had suggested I maybe had a UTI, and they diagnosed it as possible kidney stones and UTI. Fun! that evening I woke up around 3 am in the most pain I have experienced in my life...<br />
<br />
I have a fairly high pain tolerance, dealt with PCOS (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome) since I was 11. This was totally different, I could not even physically get out of bed. Luckily i had stayed at my parents and my mom was able to roll me out bed. We went to the emergency room and eventually got the cat scan and morphine! It was kidney stone, only a 2 mm, and i was given ALL the medicine and told take it easy. These stones laid me up for a week, met with an urologist. I slowly felt like I was getting better. Even got to start the 21 Day Fix (more on that later)<br />
<br />
Last Friday, around 2 am I woke up in the same overwhelming pain, ended up back in the ER. Given more pain medication. Since the stone is only 2 mm. (which sounds so small! but according to my urologist the size doesn't determine the pain) he believes it is better to let it pass naturally on my own. I am feeling much better today. Still have some residual back pain and stiffness but definitely more manageable. <br />

Recap. 24ish days later, 2 ER Visits, 4 doctors visits, over 11 medications, 7 days of missed work equals? well i haven't gotten the medical bills yet<br />

Then I worked my part time job at the Y and headed home to get some cleaning done. Took my dog, Belle for a little walk and she got covered in mud & grime! But it was fun.Then started some You Tube watching and wine drinking :P I am obsessed with watching daily vlogs on Youtube! I think it is from my old reality TV phase. <br />

Sunday I drug myself out of bed (damm DST) to go to church with my mom, brother and grandparents. Such a good feeling, my grandma has had some health issues lately so it makes me cherish that time so much more. She has this digital picture frame which we spent several hours watching the pictures which went from my grandma's childhood to present day. Love listening to her describe the people and seeing my family in the past. Warm & fuzzy feelings :)<br />

Then we had a yummy dinner at my mothers and hung out as a family.<br />

This morning I got up and did the first day of T25.<br />

I definitely followed the girl modifying and still took extra breaks but I liked it. It moved quickly and I did not feel like it was too extreme. I lost another diet bet this weekend by 3 pounds! I really need to kick my ass in gear. <br />

Today I weighed in at 242.8. I'd like to be less next week :) I started the month at 240... and my goal was to lose 3 pounds, so clearly I gained 3 instead. I have been great this month so far with my water intake and decent with my exercise so I am proud of that. As always food is a struggle with me but I am working on it.</div>

I really need to figure out a weightlifting routine. I just don't know what to do and don't really have someone to go with me/can't afford a trainer. I found decent routines online, especially this <a href="http://www.simplyshredded.com/the-ultimate-female-training-guide.html">Simply Shredded</a> but I just worry doing it by myself. I have no fear of the weight room or looking new, I just have it in my head I need a spotter or something? I think it is just my way of avoiding it.<br />

So far in December I have gotten 2 workouts in and I am at 90 minutes of my 1350 goal :)<br />

I had a decent week exercise wise. I am trying to get 75 miles in by the end of the month for a challenge & still plugging away at my 1350 minute goal but I am not sure that will happen this month. Friday was usual work day. Ready for alcohol nice and early, so of course I had to send a snap chat. After work I went to the Y with a friend and did some weights and then attempted to run outside, but it was way too hot for me. Not sure how you guys do it! Sunday was out for breakfast! Then some grocery shopping. More naps and then an awesome run! I did my fastest miles so far 16.09. Still crazy slow but big improvement for me and that's all that matters! Then lunch prep for the week: quinoa, avocado, tomato & chicken. Hopefully its yummy! </div>

Friday night I spent some time with friends and went and saw The End. This movie was hysterical! Even if I was slightly intoxicated I really thought it was a funny movie.</div>

Last week I had my fastest mile ever! At 16:35 it certainly wasn't Olympic qualifying but it felt so good to me! I usually run around 18 mile and improve every time. I had a really bad run that had me feel sad before that so it was definitely an awesome feeling!<br />

Friday was the usual, worked all day then helped check-in for a graduation ceremony. Went home and my Ipsy bag was there! Then I moaned and groaned until I stopped being lazy and did Ripped in 30, level 2 because I hate the running man!</center>

Saturday my parents and I went to Amish Country to walk around and check out <a href="http://www.visitrollingridge.com/">Rolling Ridge</a>. It is this fun thing where you ride a wagon around and all kinds of animals come up to the wagon and you feed them. It was a lot of fun! I had some good photos of the animals but Blogger keeps uploading them sideways so i don't know what the deal is.</div>

Then Sunday was mothers day! My momma got me a card from my dog, Belle. She is my baby! So that was super sweet. Once again blogger won't upload the picture correctly.</div>

Then we went to Bed Bath & Beyond and got a fun shelf thing to help organize my room. </div>

It has been three weeks since my last post! Thank you to all who are still around!<br />

School got the better of me and has been taking most of my energy. This is finals week and then I have three weeks with no classes where I can refocus and get my schedule back!<br />

Not too much to report, I literally have been just working on stuff for classes and working.<br />
<br />
I have not worked out much at all and even quit logging on mfp, but I am back today with a new calendar and logging my food.<br />

Here is the calendar from this morning. It has my <a href="https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/mindovermunch">Mind over Munch V Sit Challenge</a> and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Get-your-ass-in-the-Gym/278596975591763?fref=ts">Get your Ass in the Gym</a> workouts. I also plan to do the rocking abs with my MLFC girls and hopefully a DVD or some run/walk.<br />

This has been a good week for me. I started Insanity last week, did the fit test last Wednesday and then picked up the workouts again on Saturday. I really like it. I take a lot of break & modify somethings but I can definitely feel myself improving. Taking a rest tonight and will do day six tomorrow. <br />
<br />
Weighed in this morning at 239.4 and since it is TOM and I didn't track calories well last week I am happy with that number. Can't wait to see what next week holds!<br />
<br />
Going grocery shopping tomorrow and that always helps keep me in line. When I have good supply of healthy and yummy food it is easier for me to stick to the plan and not eat out. I also have noticed I do well when I pre plan my food in my fitness pal for the next day. Going on three days strong! :)<br />
